Prerequisites

  1. You must be Zoho CRM's Super Admin.
  2. Zoho Enterprise Edition or higher is required.
  3. You must have a Microsoft account with full admin privileges, including access to manage application permissions in the Microsoft Admin Center.

How to install the "Deal Sync for MS Teams and SharePoint for Zoho CRM"

1. Go to Setup > Marketplace > All.
    All the installed extensions are listed. Under All extensions, you can view all the extensions supported by your CRM.
2. Click All Extensions, browse for, and click "Deal Sync for MS Teams and SharePoint for Zoho CRM."
    Details about the extension will be available.
3. Click "Start a free trial" and "Buy Now."
    If you choose "Start a free trial", you'll get a trial period for an extension of 10 days. After the trial period expires, you have to purchase the extension, or else you can purchase the extension directly by choosing "Buy Now."
4. Agree to the Terms of Service and click "Install."


1. Choose one of the following, then click Confirm:
  1. Install for admins only - The extension will only be installed in CRM for users with the administrator profile.
  2. Install for Users only - The extension will be installed in CRM for all users.
  3. Choose Profiles - The extension will be installed in CRM for manually chosen users. Choose this option, click Confirm, and then select the desired profiles.
          The extension will be installed automatically for specified users.


There are two options to purchase the extension: you can purchase "Monthlyor "Annually" based on your needs.

Setting up OAuth Authorization with Microsoft 365

  1. To begin, you need a Microsoft 365 account.
  2. To authorize the account press the authorize button.
  3. Enter the Microsoft 365 account 'Username' and 'Password.'
  4. Then you can access to Zoho CRM data.




Configuration of SharePoint Site, MS Teams, and MS Teams Channel with CRM

After installing the extension, you’ll be redirected to the settings widget. There, you’ll need to select the SharePoint site and Microsoft Teams channel. You can also define the naming format for the Teams channel and SharePoint folder—choose from Deal Name + Account Name, Deal Name, or Account Name.

If you wish to enable automatic creation of channels and folders, simply turn on the toggle switch and click the Save button. Once saved, the widget will be activated.

How to sync the files from Zoho CRM to Microsoft Teams and SharePoint

To integrate SharePoint and Microsoft Teams with Zoho CRM, follow these steps after configuring settings (selecting your SharePoint site and Microsoft Teams team):

First, choose your preferred channel naming convention, such as "Deal Name + Account Name," "Deal Name," or "Account Name," for channels within Teams and folders in SharePoint.

Once these settings are saved, creating a new deal in Zoho CRM will automatically generate a corresponding folder in SharePoint and a channel in Microsoft Teams. You can then upload relevant files directly to this folder via the "SharePoint Files" related list within the Zoho CRM deal record.
