Prerequisites
- You must be the Zoho CRM's Super Admin.
- Zoho CRM Enterprise Edition or Higher required.
Key Features of "Phone Number Insights"
- Instantly retrieve insights for Phone and Mobile Number details, Carrier Details, Validity status, E-Commerce status, Social Account status, etc.
- Verify the authenticity of phone numbers in real-time to ensure accurate customer and lead data.
- Integrated directly within the Zoho CRM, providing analytics within the "Phone Number Analytics" custom module.
- Validate and analyze phone and mobile numbers by saving time and effort for your team.
- The analyzed data can be attached to the attachments related list or stored in the Notes related list in the Leads and Contacts module.
How to install the "Phone Number Insights for Zoho CRM"
1. Go to Setup > Marketplace > All.
All the installed extensions are listed here. Under All extensions, you can view all the extensions supported by your CRM.
2. Click All Extensions, browse for, and click "Phone Number Insights for Zoho CRM."
Details about the extension will be available.
3. Click "Start a free trial" and "Buy Now".
If you choose "Start a Free Trial" you'll get a trial period for an extension of 10 days. After the trial period expires, you have to purchase the extension, or else you can purchase the extension directly by choosing "Buy Now."
4. Agree to the Terms of Service and click "Install."
1. Choose one of the following, then click Confirm:
- Install for admins only - The extension will only be installed in CRM for users with the administrator profile.
- Install for all users - The extension will be installed in CRM for all users.
- Choose Profiles - The extension will be installed in CRM for manually chosen users. Choose this option, click Confirm, and then select the desired profiles.
The extension will be installed automatically for specific users.
After installing the extension, a settings widget will appear. Please follow the steps below to proceed with the required actions according to your business needs:
- You need to select the default country code.
- To automatically verify phone and mobile numbers, enable the switches for the Leads and Contacts modules in the settings widget.
- To perform bulk verification of phone and mobile numbers, ensure the switches for the Leads and Contacts modules are enabled in the settings widget.
- After choosing the options, click to save your settings.
Leads Module
New fields have been added to the Leads Module

Phone Number Status: This field represents whether the Phone Number is valid or invalid

Phone Number Details: This field indicates whether the phone number is valid. If valid, the record will appear in the Phone Number Analytics module; otherwise, it will indicate that the phone number is invalid.
Mobile Number Details: This field indicates whether the mobile number is valid. If valid, the record will appear in the Phone Number Analytics module; otherwise, it will indicate that the phone number is invalid.
Button have been added to the Leads Module

Button Name: "Get Phone Insights"
A new custom module have been added: "Phone Number Analytics"
This custom module provides detailed insights into phone or mobile numbers based on verification results. If a number is valid, a record will be created here, allowing you to review its detailed insights.
Leads Module
With Button: After installation, if auto-verification is not enabled, the process will be considered manual verification.
To verify phone and mobile numbers manually, either create a new record or select an existing one. Enter the phone number in the "Phone" and "Mobile" fields, complete the required fields, and save the record. Then, click the "Get Phone Insights" button in the Leads Module. If the phone and mobile numbers are valid, the widget will display that the insights records have been created in the "Phone Number Analytics" custom module. Notes will be added to the Notes related list, and the information will be attached to the Attachments related list. Additionally, you can track API usage in the widget.
Without Button: After installation, if auto-verification is enabled, the process will be considered automatic verification.
